Through a wide range of challenging, supervised work placements within the public service and in the private sector, we make sure our students can find their passion and build their skills right here in Yukon.

High school students
Post-secondary students
  • Student Training and Employment program (STEP)
    If you are in full-time post-secondary undergraduate studies, or are graduating from a degree program this current year, STEP offers you an opportunity to gain practical experience in your field of study.
  • Yukon Co-Op Education program
    Post-secondary students enrolled in a registered Canadian co-operative education program may be eligible for year-round work placements with the Yukon government.
  • Yukon Youth Conservation Corps (Y2C2)
    Summer employment and training program for Yukon students (aged 16 and up), with an emphasis on environmental education and enhancement.
Recent post-secondary graduates
  • Internships (GradCorps)
    Unique opportunity for recent graduates who have a post-secondary diploma or degree but lack real-world work experience.
