The Yukon government uses an e-recruitment system for all job applicants. Job seekers are required to create an online profile and submit their application electronically through this system. Please note that your cover letter and resume must be submitted in English.

Sessions are held at the Employment Central Office (wheelchair-accessible) on the last Tuesday of each month from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Session are free and an appointment is not required.

Legal requirement to work in Canada

Yukon government does not sponsor/nominate foreign workers to immigrate to the Yukon for staffing public service positions. Only people who already have the legal right to work in Canada are eligible for consideration on Yukon government employment opportunities. However, foreign workers who already have a valid work permit or study permit may be considered for employment. If you have the required permit, please submit your application through job postings on this website as you normally would.
