Employment OpportunitiesFacilities Planner/AutoCAD Officer Reporting to the Manager, Realty & Planning Services and working within a team environment, this position is responsible for establishing and implementing a systematic and formal planning process to identify departmental program needs; coordinating the development of and implementing a post-occupancy and post-project evaluation system; developing policy, guidelines, and performance measurement relating to office space and facilities planning; participating in implementing the approved office space plan and assisting with the preparation of special purpose reports related to facilities planning issues, briefing notes, submissions and other documents as directed, and for supervising a number of AutoCAD Technicians. This is a very busy branch and the ideal candidate will require strong organizational, prioritizing, time management skills along with high attention to detail. You must have strong research and planning skills along with the ability to analyze and make recommendations to Managers and clients. The ability to supervise a team as well as work independently is a must along with excellent interpersonal skills, tact and diplomacy. Knowledge of facility planning methodologies, principles of architectural design and space planning are necessary for success in this position.
