Salary : $47,659 to $54,765 per annum

The Client Services and Inspections Branch is the field services arm of the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources. 

As the District Client Service Representative, you will provide administrative support to the Whitehorse Office of the Southern Lakes District. The Southern Lakes District is one of five districts that make up the Client Services and Inspections Branch.

This position entails clerical, secretarial, and financial administrative duties, including assisting in the delivery of district office services to the general public. 

We are seeking a person who demonstrates well developed interpersonal skills, excellent computer skills including data entry, good organizational skills, a solid understanding of office and financial procedures, and an ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Certificate in Office Administration or related field
• Experience providing administrative and financial support services in a client service environment
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.

Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and considerable experience will be equally considered.

Condition(s) of Employment: Valid Yukon Class 5 driver’s licence; valid Federal Land/Air Radio licence or willingness to obtain a radio license within 3 months of hire.

A one year eligibility list will be established from this competition to fill future vacancies for identical positions and may also be used for similar positions within the department.
