Employment OpportunitiesAdministrative Assistant The Information and Support Services Unit provides administrative and financial support to all Community Development Division program areas. Reporting to the Manager, Information and Support Services, this position specifically provides reception and a variety of administrative support services to the Community Development Division. As the ideal candidate you will be self-motivated and exhibit a friendly, tactful, professional approach in providing quality customer service to our clients. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be highly organized and accurate and have strong problem solving skills. You will also have the ability to manage continuously changing priorities in a timely manner from various sources. Candidates with an equivalent combination education and experience will be equally considered. This is an ON-GOING posting with no closing date. Auxiliary on-call employees fill in for absences due to illness, vacation, peak work periods, etc. There is no guarantee of work hours and assignments may vary in length. We will be maintaining an applicant inventory from which we will consider candidates as assignments become available. As an auxiliary on-call, you must be available for work with short notice. These inventories are maintained on a continual basis and applications will be actively retained for one (1) year. There may also be casual positions which are up to 6 months in length for specific projects.
