Employment OpportunitiesTuberculosis (TB) Worker Are you available to work a few hours a day? Do you enjoy helping people? As Tuberculosis Worker you will be working as a member of a team delivering services to clients and members of the community. Primary duties include dispensing medication and directly observing the patient taking their TB medications, recording interactions with clients, assisting with collection of specimens, and assisting clients to seek medical attention. Ideal candidates would have knowledge of tuberculosis and/or communicable disease control, cross-cultural sensitivity, ability to maintain confidentiality and good interpersonal skills. Candidates who have experience in home support, home care, respite care and/or personal care, combined with cross-cultural sensitivity, ability to maintain confidentiality and good interpersonal skills will also be equally considered.
