Employment OpportunitiesGeneral Duty Nurse Reporting to the Nurse-in-Charge, this position administers and implements the medical and therapeutic program ordered by the physician; participates in all phases of nursing care for the patient; acts as charge nurse at given times, participates in nursing service activities and in-service education; and performs other duties. Candidates require a Baccalaureate in Nursing from a Canadian University or a Diploma in Nursing combined with considerable experience in acute care/emergency nursing. Current Yukon RN registration is essential, as well as Basic Cardiac Life Support - Level C Certification. Condition(s) of Employment: Pre-employment medical examination with TB screening; security clearance; valid Class 5 driver’s license; current Yukon RN registration. Job Requirement(s): shift work.
