Employment OpportunitiesCorrections Cook Reporting to the Supervisor, Food Services, the incumbents are responsible for the provision of meals for inmates housed at the Correctional Center and staff, and instructing and monitoring inmate cooks. We are looking for a mature, organized individual who has a Journeyman Cooking Certificate and experience preparing food services for 60 or more people; knowledge of inventory and portion control; experience supervising people involved in food preparations; and the ability to use a computer (MS Word, Ms Excel, Outlook). Condition(s) of Employment: Pre employment security and medical clearance, TB Testing, Must obtain health & Sanitation Certificate and First Aid and C.P.R. Certification within six months, must take and pass components of the Corrections Officer Basic Training when directed.
